Welcome, one and all, to Multiversity’s Art of the Week! Each week, we scour the internet for art sourced from the blogs, tumblrs, twitters, and instagrams of the best comic book and manga artists out there and curate them here for your viewing pleasure. This week we take a look at art from the world of comic magazines and fanzines. There has been a long tradition of magazines which feature comic style storytelling but dont quite fit into the traditional comic book format (most notably the Warren line of horror magazines and the Marvel Magazine titles of the 1970’s). So we’ll look at some art from this subgenre (both some modern pieces and some vintage pieces). And be sure to check back next week to see more exciting and rarely seen artwork from the world of comic books and manga.
