Welcome back to Multiversity Comics’ Art Of The Week! Every week I scour the internet for the best art you won’t see in comics posted by comic book artists on their blogs. This week, because we have no big theme, I wanted to spotlight this piece of Hal Jordan by Evan Shaner because I bloody love Evan Shaner. That guy should be a household name in comics. I want his artwork, particularly his takes on DC’s characters, to be the definitive takes on those characters.

I basically never want anyone except for Doc Shaner to draw Shazam ever again.

However, that’s not a reality, but you know what is a reality? All the great art collected down below! Now, go enjoy!

Superman by Joe Eisma

Wonder Woman by Mahmud Asrar

Alice W. Castle

Sworn to protect a world that hates and fears her, Alice W. Castle is a trans femme writing about comics. All things considered, it’s going surprisingly well. Ask her about the unproduced Superman films of 1990 - 2006. She can be found on various corners of the internet, but most frequently on Twitter: @alicewcastle
