Welcome, one and all, to Multiversity’s Art of the Week! Each week, we scour the internet for art sourced from the blogs, tumblrs, twitters, and instagrams of the best comic book and manga artists out there and curate them here for your viewing pleasure. In November IDW will be publishing the final issue of their current G.I. Joe run. It was announced last week that the final issue will include a record setting variant cover by Jamie Sullivan that will include 313 different G.I. Joe characters in a single image (allegedly breaking the record for the most characters to be featured on a comic book cover). So in appreciation of this wild cover, this week’s column will be looking at a bevy of G.I. Joe themed artwork.
