So… how ’bout that “Rumble”, huh? Two issues in and I am incredibly hooked. Because I’m waiting to one day experience “Hellboy” and the BPRD universe through the library editions, I’ve heard a lot about the work of John Arcudi and James Harren without actually experiencing it first hand. Until now. And I gotta say, I am impressed with the level of world-building they crammed into only two issues as well as the blend of action and humour with a little bit of supernatural horror thrown in there. Highly recommended and it’s why I wanted to showcase this piece by Skottie Young celebrating the series. It’s pretty bitchin’.
