So, last night saw the end of the first season of Marvel’s Agent Carter, a show pulling triple duty by being Marvel Studios’ first major project with a female lead (I wouldn’t call the DVD extra One-Shots “major projects”, exactly), serving as a follow up to Captain America: The First Avenger as well as bridging the gap between the two halves of the second season of Agents Of SHIELD. I haven’t seen the last episode yet, so I don’t know if it stuck the landing or not, but I have to say the season kind of disappointed me as a whole. You know what I wasn’t disappointed in, though? Hayley Atwell continuing to kick all kinds of ass and take all kinds of names, which is why I wanted to highlight this piece of her as Peggy Carter by the one and only Phil Noto.
Now, on to Art Of The Week, where I meticulously curate a collection of fine comic book artworks, gathered from all corners of the internet to present to you here every Wednesday. That sentence sounds so much more impressive if you read it in the voice of Ian McKellen. Now, I’ll let you enjoy the art of this week, collected down below. Enjoy!
