Art Of The Week: Week Of 03/11/2015

Yesterday saw another trailer for Marvel’s Daredevil series debuting on Netflix on April 10 and, hey, guess what, it still looks pretty good. Pretty gosh darn good. I still have my problems with how it looks so far (I don’t like the “Man Without Fear” origin story as much as, say, “Yellow” and wish they’d gone that way, so y’know), but Vincent D’Onofrio looks like he is going to kill it as Kingpin and Charlie Cox looks really interesting as Matt Murdock, so I’m still in.

Because of that, I hunted high and low for a Daredevil piece to highlight at the top of this week’s Art Of The Week purely to give me an excuse to talk about the trailer and, thankfully, Denis Medri pulled through for me. Isn’t that sick?

With all the Daredevil hypeness out of the way, the rest of this week’s art (which is pretty great, even if I do say so myself) is collected down below for you to enjoy. So, enjoy!

Sworn to protect a world that hates and fears her, Alice W. Castle is a trans femme writing about comics. All things considered, it’s going surprisingly well. Ask her about the unproduced Superman films of 1990 - 2006. She can be found on various corners of the internet, but most frequently on Twitter: @alicewcastle
