Welcome back, once again, to Multiversity’s Art Of The Week. This week was HeroesCon and as usual with big cons a lot of artist have been uploading their convention sketches and commissions to the online world. This has lead to a extra sized edition of Art Of The Week, so I don’t want to ramble too much and let you all just enjoy the art.
But first, I wanted to showcase this piece by Morgan Jeske inspired by David Michod’s film The Rover. With Mad Max: Fury Road garnering a lot of attention this year by being a sequel, essentially, to The Road Warrior, I thought it was very interesting that The Rover was more of a spiritual successor to the original Mad Max. It’s a measured, violent and often brutal revenge story with incredibly well rounded characters and is an intense look at human survival. It’s a film I think everyone should check out and I didn’t want this piece to go by without some context.
With that out of the way, though, the rest of this week’s art is down below. Enjoy!
