Welcome to the NYCC 2014 edition of Multiversity’s Art Of The Week! NYCC is slowly but surely taking the spot as the comic con to go to and this year was no different with an amazing turn out of artists there, taking commissions and doing sketches and, thankfully, posting them online so I can share them with you. There is a lot of good stuff this week (and I mean a lot), but I really wanted to highlight this Superman that Joe Quinones did because… wait, I don’t have to justify that. It’s Joe Quinones drawing Superman. It’s one of my favourite artists drawing my favourite character, there’s no way anything else was going to take top spot this week.

The rest of this week’s bumper NYCC edition of Art Of The Week is collected down below for your viewing pleasure! There’s some great stuff this week including the greatest rendition of Jean Grey I’ve ever seen by Paolo Rivera (hey, Bendis? if you really want another X-Men spin-off: Jean Grey by Paolo Rivera. I don’t care who writes it, I’ll buy it regardless). Enjoy!

Wonder Woman by David Yardin

Batman & Robin by Peter V. Nguyen

Alice W. Castle

Sworn to protect a world that hates and fears her, Alice W. Castle is a trans femme writing about comics. All things considered, it’s going surprisingly well. Ask her about the unproduced Superman films of 1990 - 2006. She can be found on various corners of the internet, but most frequently on Twitter: @alicewcastle
