Art of the Week (Week of 10/19/11)

On this week’s Art of the Week, we’ve got a lot of great entries thanks to the sketch and commission fest that is New York Comic Con. But I have to say, this week from the magical land called Comic Twart came one of my favorite pieces I’ve featured on this column: Dan McDaid’s hysterical Thriller piece.

It’s zombie week over with the Twarters, and man, McDaid just knocked the piece out of the park. Shamone! is right.

Click through the jump to find pieces from Francesco Francavilla, Mike McKone and more.

100 Bullets by James Harren

Apocalypse by Francesco Francavilla

James Gordon, Jr. by Francesco Francavilla

Robin commission by Mike McKone

Rock by Raul Trevino
