Art Of The Week: Week Of 11/19/14

There’s no way I wouldn’t be highlighting the above sketch by Francesco Francavilla. My favorite movie and favorite villain rendered by one of my favorite artists? It’s truly a beautiful thing. I remember being a young lad of eight back in 1989 and seeing this film. Maybe it’s because I grew up with it, but it still remains the movie I can watch at any time. Plus I’m always quoting it. Francavilla proves that, “The pen is truly mightier than the sword.”
