In this week’s Art Feature we have a LOT of great stuff, starting with a Pitt feature from the Sindicate with Pitt pieces from Colleen Coover (above), Ryan Ottley, and Mike Choi. Following that, we stick to Image-published characters, with Jorge Munoz posting a great Elephantmen picture and Li’l Depressed Boy’s Sina Grace with a wonderful Li’l Depressed Spawn! How’s that for a mash-up!

After our little jaunt into the Image World, we move to the Marvel Universe, with a great Hawkeye piece followed by  a Joe Pekar drawing of Ms. Marvel with is full of life. After that there’s two posts featuring The Silver Surfer, one by Ron Salas, and another simply entitled “SPACE” by Tradd Moore.

Then it’s another feature filled with Phil Noto art, with the last of our Marvel-centered piece: a vintage picture of Matt Murdock and Elektra Natchios at Malta in 1982. Then we see a great Holly Golightly picture from Noto which captures the essence of the character perfectly. Our final piece is a tribute to Naoki Urasawa by the one and only Cameron Stewart.

But I couldn’t help but spotlight Colleen Coover’s Pitt above. It’s so cute and the opposite of everything I expect Pitt to be! I want more Tiny Pitt frolicking with bunnies in a meadow. Amazing stuff this week!

Gilbert Short

Gilbert Short. The Man. The Myth. The Legend. When he's not reading comic books so you don't have to, he's likely listening to mediocre music or watching excellent television. Passionate about Giants baseball and 49ers football. When he was a kid he wanted to be The Ultimate Warrior. He still kind of does. His favorite character is Superman and he will argue with you about it if you try to convince him otherwise. He also happens to be the head of Social Media Relations, which means you should totally give him a follow onTwitter.
