Our art feature continues with another post, this time featuring female superheroes and female super soldiers! For starters, Ming Doyle posted the above piece of one of my personal favorite X-Men/X-Force members, after clearly dominating a Sentinel.
Beyond the cut, you’ll find another take on the new Carol Danvers Captain Marvel uniform, this time from the ever present Cameron Stewart. From there, it goes in pairs, with the 2 Point Perspective guys, Gene Gonzales and Joe Pekar, doing their best to get on Chad’s good side by posting Scarlett and Baroness from the G.I. Joe franchise. From there, Emi Lenox shared two great pieces, one of the popular Dominoed Dare-doll, Batgirl (that is a real nickname, look it up), and one of the most popular X-ladies, Rogue. Finally, Natalie Nourigat, not satisfied being the featured piece on the earlier installment of today’s Art of the Week, posted a work inspired by the popular Nickelodeon Show Avatar: The Legend of Korra. But that’s not all, she closes out the feature with a rendition of Sandman’s sister Death. That seemed apt, after all.
