Leonardo by Ross Campbell

This week on Multiversity’s Art Feature, we start with our featured piece, a Leonardo from “Glory” artist Ross Campbell. His larger than life style is perfect for the teenage with ‘tude! Sometime in the future, if Campbell ever left “Glory” (not that I ever want him to), I would buy all the books of his “TMNT.” Not to be outdone, however, Nick Roche shares a piece of Leo’s brother, Raphael. Following the “TMNT” frenzy, Gene Gonzales and Joe Pekar posted their takes on Wolverine’s clone/daughter Laura Kinney, AKA X-23. After that, fan-favorite (and all around nice guy!) Marcus To shared a classic take on one of the character’s he’s best known for, Tim Drake, AKA Red Robin, along with his sometime-girlfriend, Stephanie Brown. another Canadian Artist, Bryan Lee O’Malley, even unveiled one of his characters from his new book “Seconds.” Following that, Ming Doyle illustrates a beautifully collored piece entitled “Heroine” and Phil Noto pays homage to the just passed member of The Beastie Boys, MCA (R.I.P.). Following that, it’s our Television-Inspired pieces: Declan Shalvey submits a wonderful piece inspired by The Wire and Francesco Francavilla shares a just unveiled variant to the upcoming crossover between Doctor Who and Star Trek: The Next Generation!

Gilbert Short

Gilbert Short. The Man. The Myth. The Legend. When he's not reading comic books so you don't have to, he's likely listening to mediocre music or watching excellent television. Passionate about Giants baseball and 49ers football. When he was a kid he wanted to be The Ultimate Warrior. He still kind of does. His favorite character is Superman and he will argue with you about it if you try to convince him otherwise. He also happens to be the head of Social Media Relations, which means you should totally give him a follow onTwitter.
