Daenerys Stormborn by Agnes Garbowska

For this week’s Art Column, the featured piece was the simplest choice in the world. I’m a big fan of Game of Thrones and I love Agnes Garbowska’s takes on the characters, including one of my favorite characters: Daenerys Targaryen, the Mother of Dragons. Somehow she’s the perfect blend of adorable and disturbing. Who knew eating a horse heart could be so cute?

Below, you’ll find some fantastic pieces from Dustin Nguyen, Dan McDaid, Mike Choi, and Cameron Stewart! Tell us your favorites in the comments below!

“Personal Work” by Cameron Stewart

Scarlet Spider by Declan Shalvey

Emma Frost by Stephen Mooney

The House of El (and some important advice!) by Dustin Nguyen

The Bat and the Banana by Dan McDaid

Adam Strange David Cutler

The Savage Dragon by Mike Choi

“Dragonscale Obtained” by Giannis Milonogiannis

Gilbert Short

Gilbert Short. The Man. The Myth. The Legend. When he's not reading comic books so you don't have to, he's likely listening to mediocre music or watching excellent television. Passionate about Giants baseball and 49ers football. When he was a kid he wanted to be The Ultimate Warrior. He still kind of does. His favorite character is Superman and he will argue with you about it if you try to convince him otherwise. He also happens to be the head of Social Media Relations, which means you should totally give him a follow onTwitter.
