“Tribute to Joe Kubert” by Francesco Francavilla

This week in Multiversity’s Art Feature, we have a great deal of awesomeness to share. In light of the passing of one of the greatest artists of all time, Francesco Francavilla composed a breathtaking piece dedicated to Joe Kubert.

From there, we have two pieces dedicated to popular culture, with Cory Smith’s Breaking Bad piece titled “Heisenberg,” and Steph Mooney’s interpretation of the movie The Iron Giant; and Jorge Coehlo of Brand New Nostalgia drew his interpretation of the word “Egypt.”

From there we move to superhero works, starting with Marvel. Vincent Kukua of P5Creative unleashed a gorgeous Carnage on the world and Kevin Wada shared a piece from his collection, focused on Thor and Storm.

Finall, we move to the DC Universe, where Sean Galloway shares a piece dedicated to the Man of Steel, “Supergirl” artist Mahmud Asrar shares a piece of everyone’s favorite clown princess of crime, Harley Quinn, and all around “super” artists Marcus To and Marcio Takara both interpreted the popualr Bat-character Huntress!

Which was your favorite? Did your favorite piece from this week make the list? Let us know in the comments below!

Gilbert Short

Gilbert Short. The Man. The Myth. The Legend. When he's not reading comic books so you don't have to, he's likely listening to mediocre music or watching excellent television. Passionate about Giants baseball and 49ers football. When he was a kid he wanted to be The Ultimate Warrior. He still kind of does. His favorite character is Superman and he will argue with you about it if you try to convince him otherwise. He also happens to be the head of Social Media Relations, which means you should totally give him a follow onTwitter.
