As part of our ongoing Artist August series here at Multiversity Comics, we like to take some time to spotlight the work of the artists who are chatting with us. Obviously with the skills and catalogue of today’s artist, JH Williams III, it is a bit to narrow it down to a few spotlights, but we’ll say this: if you really want to experience the magic of J3’s artwork, buy one of the many trades/hardcovers collecting his work and see it in action. That’s the best way to see the master handle his craft.

However, in the meantime, check behind the cut for some select images of his work that we rather enjoy.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
