While not an interviewed artist for Artist August, I find it hard not to feature renowned artist Massimo Carnevale whatsoever in this month-long look at artists whose work we love. I mean, his cover work for Y the Last Man, Northlanders and more has been the work of legends for a while now, and in terms of artists he is one that holds as much renown as pretty much anyone.
So with that in mind, I wanted to share with everyone a look at a project he is working on in which he highlights particular scenes from great movies with his art. Tackling iconic images from such films as The Big Lebowski (see above), Back to the Future, Pulp Fiction, and more, Carnevale captures the magic of these films in a way that perhaps only he can.
