Our featured artist today on Artist August is Ryan Browne, a guy whose work is some of the most interesting around. While he does work in comics with his two web comics God Hates Astronauts and Blast Furnace (as well as assorted work for a variety of publishers), he also does excellent work in the form of gig posters (particularly for the band Murder by Death) and other works. While he isn’t a major name in the industry (yet), it’s hard not to say that this is a guy whose work is obviously tremendous and dynamic, and I think he is a name to look out for in the coming years.
