Today we featured an interview with “Near Death” artist Simone Guglielmini, and now it’s time to show off why we love his work in the first place. While picking up any issue of “Near Death” would assuredly prove the point for us, we pulled some choice pieces together to show you what makes Guglielmini stand out. With a deep love for noir cinema almost unparalleled this side of “Criminal,” Guglielmini’s comprehending of dark shading and early 40’s culture bring his work to life with true grim and grit, and be on the lookout in the pages of “Near Death” for a few classic cameos like the one we’ve pulled for you below.
