Welcome back to another fantastic week of Burpee’s Got You Covered! This week we’ve got the usual unusual assortment. This week though there is a surprise for those of you that frequent this list. No X-Titles, well technically, and no Finch or Granov! So shit is up in there air! Who will be on the list and what was the best cover this month? Check it after the jump!

6. Thor and the Warriors Four #2
by Gurihuri

Every time I see this cover I laugh my ass off. It’s a very light cover but the terror in Beta Ray Bill’s eyes is real. Oh it’s damn real!

5. Stealth #1
by Marc Silvestri

Nothing to insanely original here but I do really enjoy the art and the character looks dope as shit. Silvestri in recent years hasn’t done a lot for me. His lines look a little sloppy and I haven’t been a fan of those who have colored his art. This is something else entirely. This is awesome at it’s awesomest!

4. Amazing Spider-Man #630
by Chris Bachalo

Bachalo gives us one vicious looking Lizard cover here. I really love his rendition of the Lizard. Having some of Spidey’s suit sticking out of his teeth was an extremely nice touch. One of my favorite Spidey covers of the last year or so.

3. I, Zombie #1
by Mike Allred

Fairly simple design but it looks fantastic. I really dig this cover. I am a little biased though cause I love me some Mike Allred stuff. One day I will own some original work of his and then…and then I will poop myself.

2. Astonishing Spider-Man and Wolverine #1
by Adam Kubert

Kubert draws these characters like nobody’s business. Beautiful cover that clearly announces that this title is going to be awesome and everyone should read it! Kubert’s Wolverine is one of my favorite Wolvie’s of all time.

1. Avengers: The Origin #2
by Phil Noto

This cover is just badass! The impact of that hit looks incredibly cool. Using the Iron Fist impact technique with the hit is perfect. This is a cover that worked its way to number one when I hadn’t expected it to. I knew it would make the list but once it was on here it just kept making it’s way closer to #1 until it was there. Great cover.

Now for the top artists of this list! Listed below are the three artists that have appeared on this list the most. As you’ll notice Kubert was on the list this week and thus gains ground as he tries to move into second place.

Adi Granov — 9
David Finch — 5
Adam Kubert — 4

That’s all folks! See you next week!
