Last week I complained that the weeks books didn’t provide me with enough quality covers. I hooped that there would be a better selection this week. Was there? Yes! Yes there was thankfully. I actually had a hard time narrowing the covers down but in the end I was able to make great sacrifices to bring this edition of Burpee’s Got You Covered. Now hit the button and go see what I have brought to the comic altar of sacrifice for you Multiversity Comics readers.

6. Black Widow: Deadly Origins #3
By Adi Granov

Is it just me or does it look like Daredevil is really close to using his billy clubs to choke a widow? “You’re sleeping with Bucky?! BUCKY?!“

5. Nation X #2
By Dustin Weaver

Jubilee! I’m a huge Jubilee mark by default of my 90’s upbringing in which the X-Men cartoon on that time highly influenced my beliefs of exactly the X-Men were. Jubilee is an X-Woman fo sho! Also, we have Gambit, Marth and Northstar. All characters I enjoy and hey are all looking good thanks to Mr. Weaver.

4. Dark X-Men #3

By Simone Bianchi

Bianchi’s stuff is very hit or miss with my tastes. His rendition of Cyclops in my opinion is terrible. I hate the way he draws his visor. Other times though his work is fantastic. This is one of those pieces. Mystique looks great here and the two skulls in the background add a great background to the wonderfully drawn foreground.

3. X-Men Origins: Cyclops
By Adi Granov

Great iconic cover. Dark and moody with a great taste of depth when you taste it. What the hell does that mean? Not sure. But the cover is freaking sweet! Right? Right?

2. Batman: Widening Gyre #4
By Bill Sienkiewicz

Do I really need to explain why I liked this one? hahahahahahahahahahaha

1. Amazing Spider-Man #617
By Max Fiumara

I really enjoyed what they did with the main cover and it’s variants. I don’t think I’ve seen this done before and that impresses the shit out of me. I’d love to have all three of these covers framed and hanging next to each other in my man room.

This is a great example of an awesome concept and awesome execution of the concept.

Well those are the picks of the week. Anyone else have covers they liked this week? Is anyone reading this? Yeah, didn’t think so.
