It has long been a joke in the comics community, thanks in no small part to Gail Simone, that Dick Grayson aka Robin aka Nightwing aka Batman aka Nightwing again aka Dick Grayson, Superspy aka Nightwing AGAIN aka Ric, Grayson aka Nightwing AGAIN, has the best ass at DC. His is a rear that has garnered much attention, one brought to prominence earlier this year by Nicola Scott’s wonderful celebratory cover. In honor of the rump extraordinaire, we thought it’d be a fun way to welcome in the new decade with a compilation of as many ass shots as I could find. It’s not comprehensive (there are only so many books I can sift through,) does not include any of underage Grayson because ew, and I limited the shots of his behind & side-butt to ones that were well-defined.
Quick note: I said joke at the start, because this is an ass compilation, but it should be noted that very few male identifying characters are objectified in any way vs the hundreds of female identifying characters that are in comics. It sucks. Hence the dual purpose of this article: to laugh and also to bear witness to a damn fine ass in legit seriousness. We must appreciate what we can get and, y’all, some of these poses are HOT. So sit back, relax, and enjoy a compilation of the finest ass DC has to offer.
