Hello, and welcome back to Saturday Morning Panels! It’s a very simple concept: since none of us are up to watching Saturday morning cartoons anymore, we are instead going to share with you our favorite panels from the week before. It’s a bit like Comics Should Be Cheap, except with more pictures and less reading.

And, of course, spoilers are probably abundant.

We encourage you to play along at home and let us know what your favorite moments of the week were in the comments! In the meantime, our picks:

“America” #2: America inspiring all her fans to get on fleek. – Jake Hill

“Rock Candy Mountain” #1: Life on the rails, defended with fists and fury. – Paul Lai
Pomona has a fairly accurate assessment of this most current turn of events. – Benjamin Birdie

“Giant Days” #25: Entangled in existential questions and sexy underwear. —Mark Tweedale

“Shade the Changing Girl” #7: Shade preps for the winter dance with a fashion upgrade. – Levi Remington

“Kim Reaper” #1: Y’know what? This panel speaks for itself. – Levi Remington

“Eleanor & the Egret” #1: Just look at Sam Kieth’s breathtaking depiction of an egret and tell me you don’t want him to release an art book full of water birds. I dare you. – Levi Remington

“Eleanor & the Egret” #1:
This is the first time that I read something from Sam Kieth (I know, my mistake) and the only thing I have to say is this: Wow! His art is gorgeous, at the same time realistic and cartoonish.

“Green Arrow” #20: Dril baby, Dril. – Brian Salvatore

“Superman” #20: Only Lois could grab her half-Kryptonian son by the ear while making Batman and Robin simultaneously act as though the light will burn them. Even Superman is just off to the side like “Yeah, she’s got this.” – Robbie Pleasant

“Superman” #20:
Clark and Lois make the mistake of inviting their weirdo, loner friend over for dinner. – Jay Barrett

“Superman” #20:
It’s genuinely awesome to have Superman once again be the light in the darkness. – Matt Lune

“Batman” #20: Hell yeah you are! – Matt Lune

“X-Men Gold” #1: Great to have the team back in their natural habitat. – Rowan Grover

“Sun Bakery” #2:
Swords are more than just swords. – Kyle Welch

“The Flintstones” #10: Bowling ball reacts for us all. Please join me in a moment of silence for the most devastating comic character death in recent memory. – Justin Beeson

“The Flintstones” #10:
The Flintstones #10 – I want whatever it is Mark Russel is smoking. – Ryan Perry

“Robot X Laserbeam” Chapter 3: “Something, something, things Trump says on the golf course.” – Zach Wilkerson

“Nightwing” #18: “With all the darkness in him, it’s always nice to be reminded that Damian is a 12-year old boy.” – Ken Godberson
