Hello, and welcome back to Saturday Morning Panels! It’s a very simple concept: since none of us are up to watching Saturday morning cartoons anymore, we are instead going to share with you our favorite panels from the week before. It’s a bit like Comics Should Be Cheap, except with more pictures and less reading.
And, of course, spoilers are probably abundant.
We encourage you to play along at home and let us know what your favorite moments of the week were in the comments! In the meantime, our picks:
“Star Wars: The Screaming Citadel” #1: I could have picked several panels out of this issue, but the design of this one really grabbed me. – Justin Beeson
“Star Wars: The Screaming Citadel” #1: Luke Skywalker scrubs up good! Not too shabby for a farm boy – Matt Lune
“X-Men Gold” #3: Oh, Bobby. Don’t you know that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it for the first time? – Paul Lai
“Harrow County” #23: God damn it, Bernice, don’t go through that door! Nothing good will come of this… ― Mark Tweedale
“The Unbelievable Gwenpool” #15: Nice justification, Kate. Your reasoning is acceptable. – Robbie Pleasant
“Regression” #1: There were a couple shocking scenes from this body horror comic but this was a stand-out. A gross, horrifying stand-out. – Matt Lune
“Regression” #1: Oh gosh, this is horrifying and it’s only the begining of the book, I hate the idea of bugs in my mouth, this is horrible. – Ramon Piña (Who tries to “enjoy” horror titles, but really is a chicken).
