Hello and welcome back to Saturday Morning Panels! You know the drill. Each week the Multiversity staff lovingly scours the new releases to find you, our dear reader, our favorite panels and moments. And we have a fantastic line up for you this week, especially for those fans of Marvel beefcakes!

So kick-back, watch out for spoilers, talk about your favorites in comments section below, and enjoy!

“Black Stars Above” #1: Have you heard the good word? – Elias Rosner

“Detective Comics” #1015: Not cool, Bats. It’s a blatantly obvious misstep, yes, but he’s owning up to it. And at least it’s not a Lazara situation again. – Greg Ellner

“Fallen Angels” #1: (whispers) “Pretend to be upset.” – Greg Ellner

“Fallen Angels” #1: I knew at least someone wouldn’t be into the whole “dancing around a bonfire on an island” thing. – Robbie Pleasant

“Family Tree” #1: Least it’s not Derry or Castle Rock Loretta. Then a normal shitty day would feature spider aliens and leeches. – Elias Rosner

“Far Sector” #1: If a search engine has never failed you, your search history is probably pretty banal. – Nick Palmieri

“Folklords” #1: I was going to make some librarian joke here, but then I realized three people on this column have worked in libraries, so I backed down. I guess that proves the point of this panel: watch what you say around librarians. – Nick Palmieri

“Folklords” #1: You have chosen. . .wisely. – Elias Rosner

“Hawkman” #18: No need to beat yourself up over this, Carter. – Greg Ellner

“Hawkman” #18: Carter is solving the age old question: How do you stop hitting yourself? – Elias Rosner

“Invaders” #11: Stupid sexy Steve. – Elias Rosner

“Invaders” #11: Stupid powerful Namor. – Elias Rosner

“Justice League Odyssey” #15: To be fair, that’s an honest assumption, Jess. – Greg Ellner

“Morbius” #1: A miserable little pile of secrets, of course. I thought we went over this. – Greg Ellner

“Star Wars” #74: On one hand, the dark lord of the Sith, with all the powers of the Force. On the other hand, a Wookie with a big rock. I like Chewie’s odds. – Robbie Pleasant

“Superman” #17: Seems we got ourselves a philosopher over here. I ask you this: why are any of us even here? – Elias Rosner

“Superman” #17: This has the same energy of those hilarious off-model faces from “True Beauty”. Horrifying but also deeply entertaining. – Elias Rosner

“Usagi Yojimbo” #6: “Usagi Yojimbo” has been something special but it’s panels like these that show you WHY it has lasted 35 years and how far it has grown. Luth’s colors compliment Sakai’s atmospheric establishing panel and his tiny “crunch!”es in the snow. Masterful. – Elias Rosner

“Usagi Yojimbo” #6: Does it… have a unique smell or something? – Nick Palmieri

“Wonder Woman” #82: Have you ever tried to convince a busy friend to relax and enjoy themselves? It’s a battle in itself. – Nick Palmieri
