Hello, and welcome to Saturday Morning Panels, your new favorite Multiversity column! It’s a very simple concept: since none of us are up to watching Saturday morning cartoons anymore, we are instead going to share with you our favorite panels from the week before. It’s a bit like Comics Should Be Cheap, except with more pictures and less reading.
And, of course, spoilers are probably abundant.
We encourage you to play along at home and let us know what your favorite moments of the week were in the comment section! In the meantime, our picks:

Matt’s Pick: “Nova” #7
“Giant Liberty Dude.” Nothing so perfectly displays Sam’s naivety than this one line. It’s strange how attached to the character I’ve grown since the launch of the book, but as different as Wells and Loeb write him, I find his journey through herodom quite endearing, as full of cliches are silly jokes as it is — mostly because the tone is captured just right, as is evident by this one single line that opens the issue.

Vince’s Pick: “Wonder Woman” #23
This is the posse you’re running with when you’re the god of war.

James’ Pick: “Daredevil” #30″
Fun Fact: I knew Silver Surfer was going to be in this issue so I thought it was possible he would be Foggy’s replacement at the law offices. I was only a little disappointed.

David’s Pick: “Thunderbolts” #14
It is surprisingly difficult for people to write Deadpool. It’s a fine line to walk, but many struggle with it. Charles Soule clearly does, and I love how Soule mocks The Punisher’s MO. Hilarious awesomeness from a sneaky good book.

Michelle’s Pick: “The Outliers” #1
Every now and then a panel’s purpose will be to inform us that shit just got real.
This panel performs this service and does so in high style.
