Hello, and welcome to Saturday Morning Panels, your new favorite Multiversity column! It’s a very simple concept: since none of us are up to watching Saturday morning cartoons anymore, we are instead going to share with you our favorite panels from the week before. It’s a bit like Comics Should Be Cheap, except with more pictures and less reading.
And, of course, spoilers are probably abundant.
We encourage you to play along at home and let us know what your favorite moments of the week were in the comment section! In the meantime, our picks:

Matthew’s Pick: “Young Avengers” #9
Is that a David-Kohl-As-Loki in my “Young Avengers? Why yes. Yes it is. Well played.

The Youngster David’s Pick: “Journey into Mystery” #655
You have no idea how much I’m going to miss the series. I have a pull list of over thirty titles and yet, every month, this was one of the few that I’d drop anything to read. It was loved and it will be missed.

Michelle’s Pick: “Lazarus” #3
And the award for biggest BAMF of the week goes to Forever Carlyle. I would probably still love this series if it were nothing but this lady mowing people down. Of course, “Lazarus” is so much more than that, but you can’t deny how great Michael Lark is at visceral scenes like these.

The Married David’s Pick: “Wolverine and the X-Men” #35
While this was actually my least favorite issue of the Hellfire Saga arc, I can say this: holy crap, my boy Broo is back! While I loved what Aaron did with his arc, Broo is undoubtedly my favorite new character from the book and someone who continues to entertain me. Now that he’s back to the little guy he was, I am even more excited for the future of this book. Which is saying something, as I am an unabashed fanboy of it.

Vince’s Pick: “Secret” #3
I loved everything about this panel from the moment I saw it. The behind-the-head perspective, the difficulty of the mirror shot, the action, the colors – everything!
