Hello and welcome back to Saturday Morning Panels! You know the drill. Each week the Multiversity staff lovingly scours the new releases to find you, our dear reader, our favorite panels and moments. And we have a fantastic line up for you this week!

So kick-back, watch out for spoilers, talk about your favorites in comments section below, and enjoy!

“The Green Lantern” #1: Are we certain this wasn’t created at the same time as Morrison’s “Animal Man” run? – Elias Rosner

“Blackbird” #2: I feel attacked. Nonsensical conversations and earning my cats’s love fill most of my days. – Chris Egan

“Giant Days” #44: Scared Straight: Smartphone Edition. – Nick Palmieri

“Adventures of the Super Sons” #4: Tolkien’s newest wizard: Damien the Dick. – Elias Rosner

“The Wicked & The Divine: The Funnies” #1: I’m not giving you context. Just go read it and cry.- Ken Godberson III

“Farmhand” #5: Kreeeepy. . . And is that Savoy in the background? – Elias Rosner

“Batman” #58 Let’s not kid ourselves, Alfred is the best member of the bat-family, that’s just a fact. – Robbie Pleasant

“Justice League” #11: To quote Kevin from his “No Justice” SMPs: “Aaaaarrrrrttttttt.” – Elias Rosner

“Immortal Hulk” #8: That queasy feeling isn’t guilt, it’s the fact that you just absorbed another human being and now your digestion is outta wack. He needs a TUMS. – Matt Garza

“The Wicked & The Divine: The Funnies” #1: Who’s the true evil? Who is it? That’s right! You are! You are! Yesss, Ananke is. – Elias Rosner

“Giant Days” #44: ANYTHING’S POSSIBLE. – Nick Palmieri

“Marvel Knights 20th” #1: You and me both, Kid. – Elias Rosner

“Spider-Geddon” #3 – Giant robot, check. Giant monsters that explode when defeated, check. Cool guys not looking at explosions, check. This comic officially gave me everything I wanted from it. – Robbie Pleasant

“The Green Lantern” #1: While I came to this book for Morrison, I’m definitely sticking around for the top-notch team of art legends giving space a vibrant, completely new look. – Nick Palmieri

“Justice League” #11: So long as Snyder brings us The Continuing Adventures of Jarro and Bat-Dad, I will continue to showcase them – Elias Rosner

“The Wicked & The Divine: The Funnies” #1: I bet this is how Fraction got Zdarsky onto “Sex Criminals.” – Elias Rosner

“The Unexpected” #6: At least someone is taking Rebirth’s “everything is back in continuity” with a Morrison-like seriousness but it does beg the question, will this be their FINAL crisis as a team?! If it is, that would certainly be unexpected. . . I’ll see myself out. – Elias Rosner

This week, we also have a special section of Saturday Morning Panels devoted to the final issue of “Transformers: Lost Light,” issue #25.

“Transformers: Lost Light” #25: I love that Cyclonus is man enough to kiss his captain goodbye. – Christopher Chiu-Tabet

“Transformers: Lost Light” #25: Same Megatron, same (never thought I’d say that) – Christopher Chiu-Tabet

“Transformers: Lost Light” #25: I wish we got more of Megatron and Magnus’s bromance. – Christopher Chiu-Tabet

“Transformers: Lost Light” #25: Ratchet is dead?! Ratchet and Drift got married?!! – Christopher Chiu-Tabet

“Transformers: Lost Light” #25: It’s amazing how these two simple panels can be so delightful and emotionally affecting simply because of the context of everything established before – Christopher Chiu-Tabet

“Transformers: Lost Light” #25: “We’re done” (but seriously, how did no one realize it was demolition time?) – Christopher Chiu-Tabet.

“Transformers: Lost Light” #25: Oh Whirl, I’ll miss you most of all. – Christopher Chiu-Tabet.
