Hello, and welcome to Saturday Morning Panels! It’s a very simple concept: since none of us are up to watching Saturday morning cartoons anymore, we are instead going to share with you our favorite panels from the week before. It’s a bit like Comics Should Be Cheap, except with more pictures and less reading.

And, of course, spoilers are probably abundant.

We encourage you to play along at home and let us know what your favorite moments of the week were in the comment section! In the meantime, our picks:

“Arkham Manor” #2: Wrong question to ask the criminally insane, Doctor Arkham. – Keith Dooley

“Batman Eternal” #34: Truth. – Keith Dooley

“The Delinquents” #4: For those still working on your Best of 2014 lists, this is your reminder that “The Delinquents” exists and allowed you to make your own final fight scene. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Gotham by Midnight” #1: This is a very “All-Star Superman”-style opening to an excellent first issue by Ray Fawkes and Ben Templesmith. – Keith Dooley

“Gotham by Midnight” #1: Something disturbs Batman? I guess if anyone would know, it’s the Spectre himself. – Keith Dooley

“Lazarus” #13: Proving that the Lazarus game is equally mental as it is physical, Li family Lazarus Li Jiaolong is the biggest badass at Sir Thomas’ poker game, and it isn’t even really close. – David Harper

“Lazarus” #13: *swoon* – David Harper

“The Manhattan Projects” #25: I know it’s fiction, but the Manhattan Projects has retroactively made LBJ my favorite President. Sorry Woodrow Wilson. – David Harper

“The Manhattan Projects” #25: It appears that our heroes will be overpowered by giant butt-hole monsters. – Keith Dooley

“The Manhattan Projects” #25: I think Nuclear Messiah Daghlian is my favorite Daghlian. – Leo Johnson

“Mind MGMT” #28: Meru is someone not to be underestimated. – Keith Dooley; Meru is so badass that her victims have different visions of the persona her badassedness takes. You do not fuck with Meru. – Matthew Garcia

“Mind MGMT” #28: Meru doesn’t even have to try being badass anymore. Also, the lady in the background just like, “I need to lay off these herbs or something,” is fantastic. – Matthew Garcia

“New Avengers” #27: I’m not going to lie, this is one of those moments that was almost too silly to believe, and yet all of a sudden I’m stupid excited about Thorr with two R’s. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Oddly Normal” #3: Otis Frampton redesigns the Catbus with the centipede from “James and the Giant Peach.” – Matthew Garcia

“ODY-C” #1: “ODY-C” was a oretty mental book with some wonderfully insane moments, but I absolutely loved the complex way in which the ship was run. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Planet Gigantic” #1: I’m just in love with Planet Gigantic. – Leo Johnson

“POP” #4: If it was allowed, I’d post pretty much every page of this final issue. But seeing as that’s probably not cool, I’ll cherry pick this sweet little moment for you to help emphasize how great the final issue of “POP” was. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Propeller” #1: Propeller comes to Submit this week and I’m still loving how artist Alberto Muriel draws teleportation. – Leo Johnson

“Rasputin” #2: I’ve been watching Riley Rossmo’s career for years, and I’ve never seen him do stuff like this. He is absolutely pushing himself with “Rasputin,” and it’s brilliant. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Secret Avengers” #10: This is just a really well crafted chase sequence. Nice work Walsh + Kot. – Matthew Garcia

“Secret Avengers” #10: This is just one of those pages you need to see in print to really appreciate, but damn if it isn’t wonderfully done by Walsh + Wilson. – Matthew Meylikhov

“The Superior Foes of Spider-Man” #17: Oh, SupFoes. Goodnight, sweet prince. – Matthew Meylikhov

Continued below

“Superman” #36: Geoff Johns, John Romita, Jr., Klaus Janson, and Laura Martin have reinvigorated the “Superman” title by doing such simple things as reminding us why Clark is such an inspirational character. – Keith Dooley

“Toe Tag Riot” #1: Pleased to meet you, Toe Tag Riot! (This picture is already in the media library. It’s the splash page where they say, “Hello, we’re Toe Tag Riot”). – Keith Dooley

“Trees” #7: Only Jason Howard could make so many bombs look pretty. – Keith Dooley

“The Unwritten: Apocalypse” #11: Shiiiiiiiiiit. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Wayward” #4: I’m playing Knights of the Old Republic right now, and I can’t tell you how many times my party and I have walked into a situation exactly like this. Don’t these people have anything better to do than wait around to attack you? I empathize, guys. I empathize. – Matthew Garcia
