Hello, and welcome to Saturday Morning Panels, your new favorite Multiversity column! It’s a very simple concept: since none of us are up to watching Saturday morning cartoons anymore, we are instead going to share with you our favorite panels from the week before. It’s a bit like Comics Should Be Cheap, except with more pictures and less reading.
And, of course, spoilers are probably abundant.
We encourage you to play along at home and let us know what your favorite moments of the week were in the comment section! In the meantime, our picks:

Matthew’s Pick: “Sex Criminals” #3
And my favorite of the debut just becomes that much more favoriter.

Michelle’s Pick: Also “Sex Criminals” #3
Jon getting a dildo to the face, and a punny poster in the background. There’s nothing quite like pairing a blatant joke with subtler one, and “Sex Criminals” is full of pitch-perfect little moments like these.

David’s Pick: “Zero” #3
This isn’t really a panel, but I’m not really in the business of caring. It’s amazing how much we’ve been made to care about Edward and Mina, two characters who have been programmed to not care about things like each other, in just three issues. But when this beautiful, poetic, truly powerful page came, the heartbreak came and we were right there with Edward. This is comic booking at its finest.
James’ Pick: “Young Avengers” #12
I liked you for a thousand years, Young Avengers. A thousand years.

Vince’s Pick: “Harley Quinn” #0
Batman: The Animated Series was so great, wasn’t it? Time to pull out that box set, I think.

Zach’s Pick: “Prime-8’s” #1
What does it take to get this guy in the running for villain of the year? Sure he’s just an actor, but he has Silver Surfer arms, a sweet pet lizard, and impeccable one-liners. This kind of stuff doesn’t come along ever day you know? This is next level.
