Hello, and welcome to Saturday Morning Panels! It’s a very simple concept: since none of us are up to watching Saturday morning cartoons anymore, we are instead going to share with you our favorite panels from the week before. It’s a bit like Comics Should Be Cheap, except with more pictures and less reading.
And, of course, spoilers are probably abundant.
We encourage you to play along at home and let us know what your favorite moments of the week were in the comment section! In the meantime, our picks:

“Action Comics” #36: Aaron Kuder’s facial expressions can say so much without words. Powerful stuff. On a lighter note, I think Clark is pretty sexy with a beard. I’m definitely Team Super-Beard. – Keith Dooley

Amazing Spider-Man” #9: ‘Spider-Verse’ tells no lies. – James Johnston

“Amazing Spider-Man” #9: This is pretty fitting since Spider-Verse revolves around every Spider being attacked by an army of Benedict Cumberbatches. – James Johnston

“Batman Eternal” #31: A team-up to end all team-ups! Bane and the Butler! – Keith Dooley

“Birthright” #2: I quite liked the first issue, but this issue really ramped it up to eleven. And quite fast. And I quite liked it still! – Matthew Meylikhov

“Chew” #44: Silly Babycakes! You’re so silly! I’m so glad to have you as a permanent member of the cast! – Matthew Meylikhov

“Chew” #44: BABYCAKES! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! – Matthew Meylikhov

“Ghost Fleet” #1: Look at that dude on the right puking out of his eyes. Eyeball puke. – Leo Johnson

“God Hates Astronauts” #4: Freak the Fuck Out 4: A Gag in Three Parts. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Gotham Academy” #2: The Court of Owls is always watching. – Matthew Garcia

“Gotham Academy” #2: First Aunt Harriet, now the Bookworm. Here’s to hoping a “Batman” 1960s television show character makes an appearance in every issue. – Keith Dooley

“Gotham Academy” #1: I want that “Isn’t it Byronic?” poster hung up on my face. – James Johnston

“Grayson” #4: Huh. I’m suddenly in the mood for Cheesecake Factory. – Vince Ostrowski

“Grayson” #4: No, ladies. ME JANE. – Keith Dooley

“Grayson” #4: This month’s issue of “Grayson” was pure fan service, and I am perfectly all right with that. And this isn’t even the sexiest or most revealing position Janin put him in and I’m still like, “Well, hi.” – Matthew Garcia

“Justice League 3000” #11: Blue and Gold: together again! – Keith Dooley

“Kinski” #6: I’m not crying. You’re crying. Shut up. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Men of Wrath” #2: Only in a Jason Aaron comic. – Matthew Melyikhov

“Nailbiter” #7: This issue was too good, and all the Bendis-isms throughout were hilariously well done. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Rocket Raccoon” #5: Oh my God, everybody, “Rocket Raccoon” was fantastic this month. Skottie Young completely sold it. – Matthew Garcia

“Spread” #4: Spread continues to have genuinely creepy moments. Moments just like this one. – Leo Johnson

“Superman Unchained” #9: A hug and a touch of the hand can say so much. Lois and Clark must become a couple. The tension is palpable. – Keith Dooley

“Tooth and Claw” #1: Everything about this issue was amazing, but the Great Champion has particularly caught my interest. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Tooth and Claw” #1: Also, these fantastically amazing colors by Jordie Bellaire, because holy shit, wow. – Matthew Meylikhov
