Hello, and welcome to Saturday Morning Panels, your new favorite Multiversity column! It’s a very simple concept: since none of us are up to watching Saturday morning cartoons anymore, we are instead going to share with you our favorite panels from the week before. It’s a bit like Comics Should Be Cheap, except with more pictures and less reading.
And, of course, spoilers are probably abundant.
We encourage you to play along at home and let us know what your favorite moments of the week were in the comment section! In the meantime, our picks:
Matt’s Pick: “Quantum and Woody” #5
Unicorn hands! This book is one of my absolute favorites right now, and it’s because of stuff like this.
David Henderson’s Pick: “Batman: Black and White” #3
Good lord, Lee Bermejo is great. I would be very okay living in a world where all of his work is in monochrome because just look at the level of detail he can create in just his pencils. Also he needs to do more Batman work simply because he draws my favourite Batsuit of all time. Of all time.
Vince’s Pick: “Amazing X-Men” #1
And all of a sudden, I’m 10 years old again and Nightcrawler is by far my favorite X-Man.
James’ Pick: “Longshot Saves the Marvel Universe” #1
