Hello, and welcome to Saturday Morning Panels, your new favorite Multiversity column! It’s a very simple concept: since none of us are up to watching Saturday morning cartoons anymore, we are instead going to share with you our favorite panels from the week before. It’s a bit like Comics Should Be Cheap, except with more pictures and less reading.
And, of course, spoilers are probably abundant.
We encourage you to play along at home and let us know what your favorite moments of the week were in the comment section! In the meantime, our picks:

Matthew’s Pick: “Secret Avengers” #13
Ales Kot and Nick Spencer have combined into Alesick Spencot and it is a wonderful combination of humor and decompression and moments that stick with you long after. That they’ve tricked Butch Guice, who to me has always defined rather dark and realistic tales of woe, into illustrating scenes like this just makes me like the book even more. Well played, gentlemen.

James’ Pick: “Young Avengers” #14
Nothin’ I love more than characters throwing their hands up and dancing. Work it Billy Kaplan, you earned it.

David’s Pick: “Amazing Forest” #2
God this comic is so weird, but so very awesome. Out of context, this makes very little sense, but you really should read it to find out why exactly this is what it is.
