Hello, and welcome to Saturday Morning Panels, your new favorite Multiversity column! It’s a very simple concept: since none of us are up to watching Saturday morning cartoons anymore, we are instead going to share with you our favorite panels from the week before. It’s a bit like Comics Should Be Cheap, except with more pictures and less reading.
And, of course, spoilers are probably abundant.
We encourage you to play along at home and let us know what your favorite moments of the week were in the comment section! In the meantime, our picks:

“Empowered Special” – There is never a good excuse to miss out on a comic illustrated by Brandon Graham. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Superior Spider-Man #30” – Wow. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Skullkickers #25” – Aw, Jim! We never knew you liked us so much! – Matthew Meylikhov

“Alex + Ada #5” – These three panels do an amazing job at showing the wonders of emotional awakening that Sarah Vaughn and Jonathan Luna are conveying with this book. It’s just an utter pleasure to read this book. – David Harper

“All-New Ghost Rider #1” – The smartest thing this book did was they made us care about Robbie Reyes first and Ghost Rider second. Panels like this did a lot to make us care about him, and his little brother. – David Harper

“New Avengers #16” – This whole event is going to end in either a huge fight between Namor and Black Panther or a huge make out. I am rooting for the latter. – James Johnston

“New Avengers #16” – Nothing is funnier to me than the fact that there’s an entire team dedicated to ensuring that the Incursion event turns out okay for everyone and that they’re going to be ultimately stomped on somehow by the Illuminati. #everythingdies – James Johnston

“Hawkeye #18” – Hawkguy perfectly captures the pet-adopting thought process. – James Johnston

“Toriko, Shonen Jump 3/17/2014” – I hope that somewhere ‘The Mania’ is a real nudie magazine. – Mike Romeo

“All-New Ghost Rider #1” – James Johnston
