Hello, and welcome to Saturday Morning Panels, your new favorite Multiversity column! It’s a very simple concept: since none of us are up to watching Saturday morning cartoons anymore, we are instead going to share with you our favorite panels from the week before. It’s a bit like Comics Should Be Cheap, except with more pictures and less reading.
And, of course, spoilers are probably abundant.
We encourage you to play along at home and let us know what your favorite moments of the week were in the comment section! In the meantime, our picks:

“Abe Sapien” #12 – I had certain expectations going into this story. I didn’t think it would go this far, but I’m so glad it did. This panel destroyed me, as did the subsequent ones in this scene. It’s raw and horrible and beautiful. And even a week after my first reading, it still gets to me, and it hits home just how powerful comics can be. – Mark Tweedale

“All-New Ghost Rider” #3 – I do quite love that the more we get of this new “Ghost Rider” series, the more we get of Tradd Moore just breaking loose and going nuts on the pages. This particular example of hyper-violence is perhaps my favorite in this issue (which features a lot of favorites, FYI). – Matthew Meylikhov

“Avengers Undercover” #4 – I’m very much at the point where I don’t care what the naysayers say: Dennis Hopeless gets these kids so well, and I honestly like some of these characters more than I ever have. Lets break bad! – Matthew Meylikhov

“Captain Marvel” #4 – There are many reasons why I love Kelly Sue’s run on “Captain Marvel,” but this whole sequence (of which I’ve selected the first three panels) really illustrates why I like her stories. Captain Marvel is a hero with a heart of gold, but being a hero isn’t just as easy as all that. Kelly Sue gets it. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Fantastic Four” #4 – I don’t know what it is about this set of panels, but something about them made me want to cheer when I first read this issue and that’s something that makes me happy. – David Henderson

“Future’s End” #2 – Is ur costume forreal, Roy? – James Johnston

“Hellboy in Hell” #6 – Picking a single panel from “Hellboy in Hell” #6 is the worst kind of Sophie’s Choice there is. But it had to be done, and I choose this. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Secret Avengers” #3 – Remember when “Suicide Squad” was so good for three issues? Yeah. I’m glad Ales went over to Marvel and brought Mikey Walsh with him, too. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Secret Avengers” #3 – 11/10 – James Johnston

“Secret Avengers” #3 – Someone please let Ales Kot write a Spider-Woman solo. I’ll buy ten copies of each issue. – David Henderson

“Shutter” #2 – Well, yeah. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Starlight” #3 – Parlov’s art is all kinds of fierce. – Michelle White

“Stray Bullets: Killers” #3 – Victoria Applejack, you are literally asking for trouble. – Matthew Meylikhov
