Hello, and welcome to Saturday Morning Panels, your new favorite Multiversity column! It’s a very simple concept: since none of us are up to watching Saturday morning cartoons anymore, we are instead going to share with you our favorite panels from the week before. It’s a bit like Comics Should Be Cheap, except with more pictures and less reading.
And, of course, spoilers are probably abundant.
We encourage you to play along at home and let us know what your favorite moments of the week were in the comment section! In the meantime, our picks:

“All-New Invaders” #5 – I… I think I kind of like funny Bucky. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Avengers” #30 – They say there is never a bad time for comedy, but I think revelling in your own death while stuck in the future is probably the exception to the ru– OH WHO AM I KIDDING. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Batman” #31 – People say that Snyder and Capullo’s run on “Batman” gets better every issue, and I guess I can see that. It’s not every day Batman fights a lion while impersonating Maximus Decimus Meridius. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Chew/Revival” – There’s a cadaver wearing a Green Bay Packers cheesehead. That may look like a joke to most readers, but know that this sort of thing is probably exceedingly common in Wisconsin morgues. – Vince Ostrowski

“Chew/Revival” Again – I used to live 10 minutes away from Mosinee. My high school golf team held their practices there, right down the road from the paper mill. This is a classic local joke (which I believe has also been used for New Jersey), and it’s right on the money. – Vince Ostrowski

“Chew/Revival” Again Again – “Chew” and “Revival” weren’t the only participants in the crossover. – Vince Ostrowski
Crossovers have crossovers within themselves and a child’s brain! Yes! – David Harper

“Deadly Class” #5 – This comic had both the most and best usage of Mr. T of the week, and that is something I think we can all agree comics need more of. – David Harper

“Fantastic Four” #5 – Doom as the good guy while the Fantastic Four are being sued. Yup, this run of “Fantastic Four” is pretty spectacular. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Knucklehead” #6 – “My name is Herzog. I have just met you, and I love you.” – Matthew Meylikhov

“Ms. Marvel” #4 – Nailed it, Kamala. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Rover Red Charlie” #6 – This book, you guys. Aww. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Serenity: Leaves on the Wind” #5 – Every week usually has at least one “damn” moment in comics. I think this one takes the cake. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Sheltered” #9 – http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/james-doakes-surprise-motherfucker – Matthew Meylikhov

“Skullkickers” #27 – Little Dwarf is pretty adorable, but Little Dwarf With An Idea is even more adorable. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Southern Bastards” #2 – From Zach’s review of the book, “While “Southern Bastards” is certainly a gritty, down-to-earth crime drama, it dabbles heavily in spiritual/metaphysical aspects. The form of a half-wild dog appears like a familiar throughout the issue, a symbol of the chaos bubbling beneath Craw county’s mundane exterior.” That. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Thanos” Annual – I riffed on the “Thanos Annual” for being a little crazy but when it was on point it was ON. POINT. – James Johnston

“Thunderbolts” #26 – A fitting (albeit temporary) end to one of the biggest dicks in comics. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Trees” #1 – I’ve been following Jason Howard’s career in comics for some time now, but I’ve never seen him do anything quite like this. – Matthew Meylikhov
