Hello, and welcome to Saturday Morning Panels, your new favorite Multiversity column! It’s a very simple concept: since none of us are up to watching Saturday morning cartoons anymore, we are instead going to share with you our favorite panels from the week before. It’s a bit like Comics Should Be Cheap, except with more pictures and less reading.
And, of course, spoilers are probably abundant.
We encourage you to play along at home and let us know what your favorite moments of the week were in the comment section! In the meantime, our picks:
“Detective Comics” #32: Who knew Harvey Bullock and Matthew Meylikhov had so much in common? – Vince Ostrowski
“New Avengers” #19: Give me Namor with Hickman dialogue or give me death. – James Johnston
“Secret Avengers” #4: Michael Walsh rocking the house like woah. Like, woah. – Matthew Meylikhov
“Starlight” #4: Goran Parlov, ladies and gentlemen. The man is a master, and this quiet moment in the midst of the latest issue is a good moment that becomes great in his hands. – David Harper
“Shutter” #3: Oh my god, it’s a worm driving an apple car while wearing a skeleton suit! Please stay in this book forever! – David Harper
“Shutter” #3: NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! – David Harper
