Hello, and welcome to Saturday Morning Panels, your new favorite Multiversity column! It’s a very simple concept: since none of us are up to watching Saturday morning cartoons anymore, we are instead going to share with you our favorite panels from the week before. It’s a bit like Comics Should Be Cheap, except with more pictures and less reading.
And, of course, spoilers are probably abundant.
We encourage you to play along at home and let us know what your favorite moments of the week were in the comment section! In the meantime, our picks –

Mathew’s Pick: “Young Avengers” #7
Wowza.

Vince’s Pick: Also “Young Avengers” #7
As most issues of “Young Avengers” have, issue #7 gave each character a little moment to shine. I think I liked this one best, where Noh-Varr dished out a little love advice and almost got to cap it off with a Supremes reference. Poor guy just can’t get a word in edgewise when he wants to talk about music.

James’ Pick: Also “Young Avengers” #7
I’m so mad this relationship hasn’t been going on for years.

Zach’s Pick: “Justice League” #22
Two things: “Kingdom Come” taught me to always appreciate a Superman/Shazam throwdown, and Ivan Reis does it justice. Also, Billy Batson is the cure for the grimdark New 52.

Hendo’s Pick: “Suicide Squad” #22
And this, dear friends, is why it’s such a crime that Ales Kot won’t be writing “Suicide Squad” any more. Bring on “Zero”.

Michelle’s Pick:” The Standard” #3
Okay, so there are a lot of wonderful stand-alone panels in “The Standard”. But I think you’ll agree that this one is particularly piquant.
