Hello, and welcome to Saturday Morning Panels! It’s a very simple concept: since none of us are up to watching Saturday morning cartoons anymore, we are instead going to share with you our favorite panels from the week before. It’s a bit like Comics Should Be Cheap, except with more pictures and less reading.
And, of course, spoilers are probably abundant.
We encourage you to play along at home and let us know what your favorite moments of the week were in the comment section! In the meantime, our picks:

“The Delinquents” #1: I am sad that a “Quantum and Woody” ongoing is not something that currently exists right now, but man, thank goodness we have “the Delinquents” so people can still have a monthly opportunity to realize these are two of the best characters in comics. – Matthew Meylikhov

“The Fade Out” #1: There are a lot of moments you can point to in this issue that are great examples of what makes Brubaker and Phillips’ partnership so incredible, but these two panels really do them the most justice in my book. – David Harper

“Ms. Marvel” #7: Despite nobody telling DC and Marvel that this was “cartoon physics” week in comics, they still managed to get their outfits in sync. – Matthew Meylikhov

“The Multiversity” #1: Captain Carrot is the hero we deserve, and the one we need right now. – Matthew Meylikhov

“New Avengers” #23: …shiiiiiiiiiit. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Original Sins” #5:
– James Johnston

“Original Sins” #5: Who doesn’t enjoy a nice park? – David Harper

“Original Sins” #5: Really looking forward to the upcoming Frog Man ongoing by Chip Zdarsky! – Matthew Meylikhov

“The Saviors” #5: Chalk this up for “Things I Never Thought I’d Read In A Comic From The Writer of “Starman.”” – Matthew Meylikhov

“Secret Avengers” #7: I would write something clever here about how funny and amusing this whole meta issue was, but if I did the website would probably retort with some kind of fourth wall breaking insult at me. Matt’s a loser. – Matthew Meylikhov

“Supreme: Blue Rose” #2: It’s a little hard not to fall in love with everything Tula Lotay draws, but this lady is the most irresistible of all. – David Harper

“Trees” #4: The page this is on is completely brilliant, but a million rounds of applause for Jason Howard in how he uses color. I love the yellow background he delivers when Tian finds the right answer to go with. Perfect. – David Harper

“The Unwritten: Apocalypse” #8: To everyone who has somehow forgotten how great “The Unwritten” is, here’s your reminder that shit is going down. – Matthew Meylikhov

“The Wicked + The Divine” #3: Same. – James Johnston

“The Wicked + The Divine” #3: Hands down the funniest line I’ve read all week. There’s no way I’m not steeling this the next time anyone asks me if I’m okay. – James Johnston

“The Wicked + The Divine” #3: This is exactly what I thought when I saw this page: ‘What a Baaler.’ – David Harper
