Welcome to Saturday Morning Panels! You know the drill. Each week the Multiversity staff lovingly scours the new releases to find you, our dear reader, our favorite panels and moments. And we have a fantastic line up for you this week!

So kick-back, watch out for spoilers, talk about your favorites in comments section below, and enjoy!

“Ascender” #2: Excuse me. I’ll have you know that’s the king of GarBAHge. Get it right. – Elias Rosner

“Bad Luck Chuck” #3: Somehow obviously hasn’t seen the title to this comic before. – Elias Rosner

“Batman: Last Knight on Earth” #1: It’s back! The best Bat-suit design in years is back! Oh how I’ve missed the yellow. – Elias Rosner

”Dark Red” #3: After watching Overlord in 2018, seeing the monsters mainly fighting against the Nazi scientists with extreme brutality is rather refreshing. Still disturbing to watch from a purely “seeing humans torn apart” perspective, but refreshing. – Gregory Ellner

“Doomsday Clock” #10: After the Batawang debacle, I think it’s safe to assume that this is the only reason we aren’t seeing Doctor Dong in this panel. – Elias Rosner

“Doomsday Clock” #10: Dr. Manhattan on fandom, everybody. – Matt Garza

“Heroes in Crisis” #9: But…I just don’t…Like…Why? – Matt Garza

“Heroes in Crisis” #9: Who needs heroism when you can have friends willing to cover up and forgive your mass manslaughter? – Gregory Ellner

“Killer Groove” #1: As a musician, I can confirm the reality of this. – Dexter Buschetelli

“Killer Groove” #1: Personally, I feel the rise of the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears is to blame. – Dexter Buschetelli

“Killer Groove” #1: All jokes aside this is a real issue. And on the flipside the last girl I dated found out the girl I dated before her was black, to which she stated “I’m not sure how to feel about that.” Which I replied with “I’m not sure how to feel about you not being sure how to feel about that.” – Dexter Buschetelli

“Magnificent Ms. Marvel” #3: Ammi is really taking this “My daughter is a superhero” thing in stride. – Elias Rosner

“Peter Cannon: Thunderbolt” #5: I really hope we get more of this series in the future. – Elias Rosner

“Spaceman and Bloater” #1: I fell out of a tree on the Harpeth river once and was face down in the water for several seconds. I imagine this was my friends in that moment. – Dexter Buschetelli

“Spaceman and Bloater” #1: Who’s a good frost giant? You are, boy. – Dexter Buschetelli

“Thor” #13: Like father like son. Obsessed with hammers – Matt Garza

“Thor” #13: First Odin and now Cul, Jason Aaron is making me cry for ALL the shitty Borsons! – Elias Rosner

“Voracious: Appetite for Destruction” #1: Everything about this hand bothers me. It’s like a Brian Yuzna body horror. – Dexter Buschetelli

“Voracious: Appetite for Destruction” #1: So who else is looking forward to the 2020 election season? – Dexter Buschetelli

“Voracious: Appetite for Destruction” #1: Damn it, grandma. You’ve already broken your hip twice and we keep telling you not to try sitting criss-cross applesauce. – Dexter Buschetelli

“A Walk Through Hell” #10: This comic is very good but also very fucked up. This is the tame panel and I still feel like I need a shower. – Elias Rosner

“X-23” #12: It’s comforting to reach that point in a superhero career when you just stop questioning things like this. – Gregory Ellner

“X-Men:Grand Design X-Tinction” #1: *Theme song plays* Scott Summer is traaaaahaaaash. – Dexter Buschetelli
