Welcome to Saturday Morning Panels! You know the drill. Each week the Multiversity staff lovingly scours the new releases to find you, our dear reader, our favorite panels and moments. And we have a fantastic line up for you this week!

So kick-back, watch out for spoilers, talk about your favorites in comments section below, and enjoy!

“Batman” #72: That’s stupid. Of all the BS coincidences that this issue pretends were orchestrated by Bane to perfection, this one might be the one I buy the least. – Elias Rosner

“Batman” #72: But this one is genius. You don’t think twice about a head-butt from Batman taking down a villain because that’s just the world of the comic. It re-contextualizes something that was easily dismissed as being part of the verisimilitude of the comic book world of Batman and turns it on its head in a way that feels earned and adds to what came before instead of subtracting from it. – Elias Rosner

“Black Cat” #1: That is not a customer you want to mess with. Run moped delivery dude! Run! – Elias Rosner

“Criminal” #5: I guess we can assume there isn’t a noir version of The Flash here. – Elias Rosner

“Giant Days” #51: We are in the alternate timeline when Esther does her vacation shopping at Lilly Pulitzer, but I have to admit she wears it well. – Kate Kosturski

“Giant Days” #51: It’s a pain that bores deep because it hits hard and fast and you haven’t the defense prepared. It festers and rots and you wish you were anywhere but in your own skin. You wish you were gone with them but more so, you wish they were still here. With time, with friends, with those who care and those who listen, it can be healed. But the memory of the pain remains, even all these years later, like a filled hole that never could sustain plants upon its soil. – Elias Rosner

“Giant Days” #51: As someone who has lost a parent (though not suddenly as McGraw did), this statement encapsulates the nature of grief and how to move forward from it so beautifully. Well done, John Allison. – Kate Kosturski

“The Green Lantern” #8: No, Ollie. It’s, “Hi, how are you?” – Elias Rosner

“Justice League” #25: Getting some real Palpatine vibes from Luthor here… – Kevin Gregory

“Justice League” #25: No, this is Superman. Gosh this comic is just bonkers, nuts, and hope-filled. Also weirdest member of the League since Zauriel. – Kevin Gregory

“Meet the Skrulls” #5: And the best is / No one knows who you are / Just another girl, alone at the bar. – Nick Palmieri

“Meet the Skrulls” #5: I said, shush, girl! / Shut your lips! / Do the Skrull-time shuffle, and talk with your shifts! – Nick Palmieri

“Meet the Skrulls” #5: She wants to touch me, whoa-oh / She wants to love me, whoa-oh / She’ll never leave me whoa-oh / Whoa-oh, oh, oh. – Nick Palmieri

“Meet the Skrulls” #5: Don’t trust a Skrull / Never trust a Skrull / Won’t trust a Skrull / Won’t trust me. – Nick Palmieri

“The Walking Dead” #192: … even knowing this has to be coming, it doesn’t make it sting any less. – Gregory Ellner

“War of the Realms” #5: This is such a cathartic panel after all the shit Dario Agger has done in “Thor.” – Elias Rosner

“War of the Realms” #5: Well, I know what my next D&D character will be. – Robbie Pleasant

“War of the Realms” #5: Jane, use the all-mother’s knowledge. Nothing good comes from the Ultimate universe (except Miles.) Nothing! – Elias Rosner

“War of the Realms” #5: Wait, you’re telling me there’s a Thori/Bats team-up and we’re NOT getting a full five-issue tie-in mini-series covering every glorious moment of these good boys working together? For shame, Marvel! – Robbie Pleasant

“War of the Realms: Journey into Mystery” #4: I can confirm. There are a ridiculous amount of Deadpools at any given convention. – Robbie Pleasant

“Witchblade” #14: There is no Dana. Only Zuul. – Gregory Ellner

“Young Justice” #6: They grow up so fast. – Kevin Gregory
