“Age of X-Man: Apocalypse and the X-Tracts” #5: Apocalypse is a jerk! – Gregory Ellner

“Age of X-Man: Apocalypse and the X-Tracts” #5: Baruch hashem this is stupid. A real shilshul balagan. Who’s the putz that approved this mishugas? – Jake Hill

“Avengers” #21: Hot tub party > Shwarma party. – Jake Hill

“Batman” #74: So there WAS a point to that weird story from one of the worst “Batman” arcs of King’s run. Kudos. – Elias Rosner

“Bitter Root: Red Summer Special” #1: This is horrifying, but also I want to get lost in the colors. – Jake Hill

“Captain America and Wolverine: Weapon Plus” #21: Did you catch all of that!? – Jake Hill

“Criminal” #6: Is that slang for some old dang move? Maybe a drink? Sounds like a drink. Anyone want a drink? Teeg’s buying! – Elias Rosner

”Detective Comics” #1007: At least you’re not playing good cop to your older self, Bruce. That can happen sometimes. – Gregory Ellner

“Giant Sized X-Statix” #1: I never really got X-Statix or particularly liked the early-2000s reality-TV angle but if this series gets us more Allred art, and MORE DOOP, then I am down for it. Just, please, please make a tiny bit more sense this time around. Please. – Elias Rosner

“Invisible Woman” #1: It turns out Sue Storm is kind of basic and that’s what I love most about her. – Jake Hill

“Mad Cow” #1: This is a real thing I just paid $2.99 for on Comixology. I have no regrets. – Dexter Buschetelli

“Night of the Cadillacs” #1: He’s actually a really good stepfather, appearances aside. – Dexter Buschetelli

“Outer Darkness” #8: Mood. – Elias Rosner

“Reaver” #1: Well, there was probably more meat on that one than the last bone. – Dexter Buschetelli

“Reaver” #1: Maps! Maps! Maps! I love fantasy maps! – Jake Hill

“Reaver” #1: I know everybody likes to see a rapist get their cumuppins but dear God, why would anyone stick their dick in that ever? I spend a lot of my time keeping sharp objects away from that part of my body. – Dexter Buschetelli

“Reaver” #1: Wow that’s some well-drawn swordsmanship. – Jake Hill

“Reaver” #1: This guy’s like a blood-powered psychic Victor Zsasz. I love him already. – Dexter Buschetelli

“She Could Fly: The Lost Pilot” #4: I have no snark for this one. It’s just an excellent and tragic line in a comic full of them. – Elias Rosner

”Star Wars: Age of Resistance – Captain Phasma”: Wow, this is a new side of Phasma. … what’s that? It was in all of the expanded universe material leading up to Episode VIII, and in one of the film’s deleted scenes, but left out of the finished product itself? She’s done this and worse in several other stories? Never mind, then. – Gregory Ellner

”Superman” #13: Leave it to Lois to have the most logical reaction to this whole “The Offer” business going on around Year of the Villain. – Gregory Ellner

“Thor” #15: I’m getting some serious “Black Bolt”-era Crusher Creel vibes and I’m here for it. – Elias Rosner

”Thor” #15: Fetch… the comfy chair! – Gregory Ellner

“To Your Eternity” #105.2: See you, fantasy cowboy. *cries in bebop* – Elias Rosner

”War of the Realms: Omega”: I’m about 40% sure that’s the Witchblade. Maybe 45%. – Gregory Ellner

”Wolverine vs. Blade Special” #1: You thought you were dealing with normal vampires, but it was me, Dio! – Gregory Ellner

“Wonder Twins” #6: It’s like I tuned into C-Span, only it’s somehow LESS disheartening than the real thing. – Elias Rosner

“Wonder Twins” #6: What?! That means I have to wait a whole . . .*checks calendar*. . .extra month for the next issue!? How dare the team take a short hiatus to get ahead on a book and keep up the exceptionally high quality after it was extended to twelve issues. – Elias Rosner
