Welcome to Saturday Morning Panels! You know the drill. Each week the Multiversity staff lovingly scours the new releases to find you, our dear reader, our favorite panels and moments. And we have a fantastic line up for you this week!

So kick-back, watch out for spoilers, talk about your favorites in comments section below, and enjoy!

“Action Comics” #1014: Bendis has done more to make the DCU feel lived in and interconnected with these one page intros in “Action Comics” than any of the other books outside of “Justice League.” And he introduced Chirper! Take that Tw*tter. – Elias Rosner

“Amazing Spider-Man” #28: Spidey has watched Netflix’s Dark, now you have no excuses not to! – Christopher Chiu-Tabet

“Avengers” #23: Race yourself free. – Jake Hill

“Batman/Superman” #1: So the Batman Who Laughs has gone from Pinhead to John “Jigsaw” Kramer. Alarming twist. – Gregory Ellner

“Dial H for Hero” #6: If Joe Quinones and Jordan Gibson don’t get any end of year nods or awards, I will flip. – Elias Rosner

“Doctor Mirage” #1: Murder eyes are a sign of heavy Ambrosia imbibing. Talk to your doctor if you, or a loved one, get murder eyes. – Elias Rosner

“Doctor Strange” #18: And this is why we throw out our leftovers, dangit! – Robbie Pleasant

“Fantastic Four: 4 Yancy Street” #1: I hope we get to see Ben wearing a Yarmulke more often in Slott’s “Fantastic Four,” or at least more of his Jewish heritage. . . though preferably not at any more funerals. – Elias Rosner

“Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” #11: MJ, be nice to Miles. He’s a good kid!- Jake Hill

“House of X” #3: I…damn. – Kevin Gregory

“Justice League” #30: Jarro being Batman’s newest surrogate son remains my favorite part of the new “Justice League” status quo and I hope that whoever takes over “Batman” retains this. – Elias Rosner

“Justice League Dark” #14: When there’s something fanged, in the neighborhood, who you gonna call? – Gregory Ellner

“Mall” #1: Ah yes, the patented Kyle Reese maneuver. – Gregory Ellner

“Manor Black” #2: When the cryptkeeper’s away, the skeletons will play. And by play, we mean tell all the stories they aren’t usually allowed to tell. – Elias Rosner

“Marvel Comics” #1000: Pray for Banner the next time he has to relieve himself. – Christopher Chiu-Tabet

“Marvel Comics” #1000: JMS’s “Spiderman” run were the very first comics I ever read. I read them with my father and younger brother, every issue, when both of us were certainly too young for them. I knew nothing of editorial mandates or how they shaped his two most infamous “Spider-Man” arcs, nor did I know that they were all that bad or controversial. Now I do. I don’t know where I’m going with this story other than to say: this panel right here is why I love JMS as a creator. It’s hard to admit when you’ve made a mistake, when your work was not up to snuff, and it’s even harder to do it in public and here he is, doing just that. But only enough to add to the tapestry of the page, to aid in the balance of poignant and humorous. A fitting tribute to Marvel for its 80th. – Elias Rosner

“Marvel Comics” #1000: Scenes From the Doctor Strange Director’s Cut, Or, Scenes I Want to See in Doctor Strange 2. – Kate Kosturski

“Marvel Comics” #1000: Batman’s cameo here had me laughing out loud – God bless Gail Simone. – Christopher Chiu-Tabet

“Marvel Comics” #1000: “Yeah Eli, we had to team up with Loki and America Someone!” – Jake Hill

“Marvel Comics” #1000: Poprah. Kind of rolls of the tongue. I like it. Though let’s not give Oprah ideas. – Kate Kosturski

“Marvel Comics” #1000: Elsa Bloodstone is us all. #justiceforjeff – Elias Rosner

“Marvel Comics” #1000: Protect the best boy, Elsa! #JusticeForJeff – Robbie Pleasant

“Marvel’s Spider-Man: Velocity” #1: It seems that with everyone’s favorite tough but lovable, grizzled, seen-too-much detective on likely permanent retirement due to… incidents, his replacement is a not-caped crusader. Fair enough. – Gregory Ellner

Continued below

“Mary Shelley: Monster Hunter” #5: I think there’s been a typo. There should be a question mark here. We didn’t even get to the monster hunting yet! – Elias Rosner

“Necromancer’s Map” #1: When you fail your perception check but NatCrit your initiative. – Jake Hill

“Runaways” #24: Magic is weird sometimes. In fact, sometimes magic just likes screwing with you. Because it thinks it’s funny. – Robbie Pleasant

“Runaways” #24: Curses, foiled by comic logic again. – Kevin Gregory

“Runaways” #24: Garsh, they’re just the cutest (also reminder to all youse silly Americans to register to vote). – Kevin Gregory

“RWBY” #1: This image is almost too adorable for print. Surely nothing can go wrong with this family, right? *“Red Like Roses Part II” plays in my head* … damnit. – Gregory Ellner

“Star Wars: Age of Resistance: General Hux” #1: Hux has the subtlety and cunning of a half-starved one-legged rancor. – Jake Hill

“Superman” #14: YOU CAN”T JUST CALL A TIME-OU…oh wait thats exactly what they’re gonna do. Huh, who’d’ve thunk it. – Kevin Gregory

“Thor” #16: Thori? Not wanting murder?! What madness is this?! Also, Thori, Jeff and Jarro all in one week?! Pinch me I must be dreaming. – Elias Rosner

“Wonder Woman” #77: Well, I know two new ways to describe coffee now. – Gregory Ellner
