Welcome to Saturday Morning Panels! You know the drill. Each week the Multiversity staff lovingly scours the new releases to find you, our dear reader, our favorite panels and moments. And we have a fantastic line up for you this week!

So kick-back, watch out for spoilers, talk about your favorites in comments section below, and enjoy!

“Absolute Carnage” #3: Celetus Kassady has come a long way from the days of Country Carnage. – Jake Hill

“Batman” #79: I know you’re just doing your job Jaime, and know this is not directed at you, but I must express my heartiest, and deepest, fuck you for the necessity of this editorial box. – Elias Rosner

“Black Hammer: Age of Doom” #12: Not to tell you how to live your life, but that house seems a bit more shack-y than house-y. – Elias Rosner

“Black Panther and the Agents of Wakanda” #1: Fat Cobra is life goals. – Jake Hill

“Bloodborne” #15: I… uh… wait, what? – Gregory Ellner

“Critical Role: Vox Machina Origins II” #3: Somehow, I see Matt Mercer cracking up in the back of my head. Nobody suspects sudden Burt Reynolds! – Gregory Ellner

“Death’s Head” #3: Both Death’s Heads and Tini Howard on a “Young Avengers” book. ‘Nuff Said. – Elias Rosner

“Five Years” #4: While I appreciate the highly polished, highly detailed comics of today, there’s something so satisfying in seeing characters with this much physical personality. Also, I was totally like the Ashley orb here when I was younger. – Elias Rosner

“Five Years” #4: Oh just stomp on my heart some more while you’re at it! – Elias Rosner

“Gods Are Freaks” #1: God damn it, Comixology. Could you please vet these books a little better? The cover art to this lies. – Dexter Buschetelli

“House of X” #5: If I saw naked Monet and Warren and Scott and Kurt and Jean and they looked like that, I’d start chanting too.- Jake Hill

“House of X” #5: *First voice*: What was that? *Second voice chimes in*: I dunno. I think she said heroes of the cracked hoe? *Third voice* What’s gardening implements have to do with it? *First voice* I don’t think it’s meant to be taken literally. It’s clearly a reference to any great feat of tool repairs. – Elias Rosner

“Inferior 5” #1: Not only has the gene bomb gone off but now Parallax has initiated Zero Hour early! Quick! Stop, drop and fade into cosmic nothingness. – Elias Rosner

“Jane Foster: Valkyrie” #3: I hope this doesn’t offend my colleagues across the pond, because I can’t stop laughing at it.- Jake Hill

“Justice League” #32: That’s the second or third most horrifying version of Brainiac I’ve ever seen! – Gregory Ellner

“Napoleon Dynamite” #1: I thought it was a possibly alien dog with superpowers which I guess fits? – Elias Rosner

“Napoleon Dynamite” #1: Speaking of great visual devices. Despite this not being great I love this panel’s use of disconnected hands. Something about it is just so visually appealing, jeez. – Dexter Buschetelli

“Once and Future” #2: I’m sure they’re just gutted to see their hero like this. At least they are aware of what bringing him back entrails. – Gregory Ellner

“Outpost Zero” #13: Lightning Lad only knows one way to make an entrance and subtle is not his forte. – Elias Rosner

“Spider-Man” #1: Not sure if that is a sausage or a pepper but either way it wasn’t cooked right. – Dexter Buschetelli

“Spider-Man” #1: Penance called from 2005, he wants his whole look back. – Jake Hill

“Starcraft Survivors” #3: Wow, somebody doesn’t have enough vespene gas. – Jake Hill

“Steeple” #1: Daddy Eyeball? When did you get so tall? – Elias Rosner

“Supergirl” #34: Sweeping events like “Event Leviathan” often have the problem of being far too wide a scope to care about the impact on individual people. Good of Andreyko to bring it right back down to Earth in a very visceral manner. – Gregory Ellner

“Superman’s Pal: Jimmy Olson” #3: Silver Age zaniness meets Golden Age wordiness meets modern self-aware nervous humor. This comic is a treat and I never considered Luthor having skeletal stabby fingers but OF COURSE HE DOES. – Elias Rosner

“You Are Obsolete” #1: This depiction of teeth truly leaves me unsettled. Like, far more than any others I’ve ever laid eyes upon. Credit to the artist. – Dexter Buschetelli

“You Are Obsolete” #1: That artist, by the way, is named Evgeniy Bornyakov, and has a really great handle on visual devices. – Dexter Buschetelli
