The Multiversity Casting Couch – Multiversity Comics!

In honor of Multiversity turning one, I decided to have a little bit of fun with this and give a light roast of the guys that started it (sorry Mocle, Walt, Crit, and Ponzo…Jordan…Julie…Carina). So who’s playing us? You’ll just have to click the cut to find out!

Just remember guys, I love you! Hahaha

Matt — Nicolas Cage

Matt’s kind of a mad genius prone to bouts of shouting and craziness. Sometimes he just yells for no reason and punches old ladies. So who else to portray such a madman than Hollywood’s biggest overactor!

Me — Jonah Hill

This is mainly because last week I was buying an Arizona Iced Tea from the liquor store next to my shop and this guy told me “when you walked in the store, I thought you were that guy from Superbad.”

I really couldn’t argue with it either. So here it is. Can I have my own Jules (Emma Stone) though, please?

David — Launchpad McQuack

Probably the biggest likeness on the list, even going so far as to make it his celebrity likeness on Facebook! I totally see it too! He also has a knack for getting us into trouble, whether he means to or not!

Brandon — Doug Funnie

OK, I see this even more than Launchpad! Separated at birth? At least he already has his Patty Mayonnaise!

Matt’s beard — Nicolas Cage

The only thing better than one Nicolas Cage is two! Look at Adaptation! And plus, Matt’s beard is like a more intense version of himself, and what better way to do it than by having another Nicolas Cage?! Brilliant!

Gilbert Short

Gilbert Short. The Man. The Myth. The Legend. When he's not reading comic books so you don't have to, he's likely listening to mediocre music or watching excellent television. Passionate about Giants baseball and 49ers football. When he was a kid he wanted to be The Ultimate Warrior. He still kind of does. His favorite character is Superman and he will argue with you about it if you try to convince him otherwise. He also happens to be the head of Social Media Relations, which means you should totally give him a follow onTwitter.

    Casting Couch: Nailbiter

Welcome back to Casting Couch! After an extended break I’ve returned, and today I’m kicking off the new wave of Casting Couches with a look at Josh Williamson and Mike Henderson’s “Nailbiter,” from Image Comics. While many comics today get picked up and adapted left and right, “Nailbiter” is the type of book that seems […]
