Jeremy Roberts’ Justice League/X-Men Tribute Is Excellent

Spied via Bleeding Cool, Jeremy Roberts has created a wonderful tribute to Jim Lee’s “X-Men” #1 by way  of Jim Lee’s new gig drawing Michael Bay’s Geoff Johns’ “Justice League”. Roberts, who mostly does licensing gigs, did the above image just because, and that’s plain awesome.

In fact, is it bad that we like this one image alone more than I liked the entire six-issue arc of “Justice League”. Yeah, yeah, we know — we compliment one and condemn the other, but come on. Someone just give Roberts a full-time interior job already.

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
