Recent 2014 Ignatz Winner for his comic “Fantasy Basketball,” yesterday Sam Bosma put his new comic that just debuted at SPX online for digital consumption. Entitled “The Hanging Tower,” it’s a fantasy western “story of an old knight in search of a lost girl in a run-down fantasy world, while devils, shopkeeps, and brigands trouble her quest” — and you can get it right now.

Of course, if yo’d rather have a print edition, there’s that option as well, and Bosma has even done one final print-run of “Fantasy Basketball,” his Ignatz Award winning comic, so why not snatch them up now while you can?

Bosma is a wonderfully talented artist, certainly a well-deserved winner of the Ignatz, and is currently a background artist for the Cartoon Network series Steven Universe. With an ostensibly manga-influenced style, Bosma does a fantastic job of creating worlds you yourself want to inhabit, and characters you can’t help but immediately sympathize and relate to. If you’re not familiar with his work, I’d certainly recommend becoming so. I’d expect to hear great things from him, and quite soon.

Take a look at an excerpt from the book below. I’ve already ordered my copy; what are you waiting for?

Matthew Meylikhov

Once upon a time, Matthew Meylikhov became the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Multiversity Comics, where he was known for his beard and fondness for cats. Then he became only one of those things. Now, if you listen really carefully at night, you may still hear from whispers on the wind a faint voice saying, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine is not as bad as everyone says it issss."
