2020 Harvey Award Nominations Announced

Via The Hollywood Reporter, the Harvey Awards have announced the nominees for the 32nd annual awards ceremony, honoring the best comic books and adaptations released since October 2019. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the cancellation of New York Comic Con, this year’s awards will be be held during a livestreamed presentation on ReedPop’s New York Comic Con Metaverse channel. A specific time and day for the awards were not announced, but the Metaverse event will run from Thursday, October 8, to Sunday, October 11. Now, here are the nominees:

Book of the Year:

Best International Book is a new category that replaces the previous Best European Book award, so as to be more inclusive of other works.

Voting is now open to any comics industry professionals who have been previously been approved for a Professional or Artist Alley badge, at any ReedPop comic convention from 2016 to 2020: applications can be made here. Voting will conclude on September 21.
