Another confirmation from the people over at Marvel! Huzzah! And this one, like Psylocke, is an addition that I totally love! Sure, he’s no Madrox or Hercules, but Cable is a bad ass in Marvel vs Capcom 2, so I’m going to assume he’s a bad ass in M:UA2. Already part of the Anti-Reg side (a la Cable and Deadpool) as an NPC, it’s a pretty easy transition from NPC to PC. Cable also counts as one of the people we’ve never had before (unless your name is Josh Mocle, in which case we should probably point out he was a hidden character in the PSP version of X-Men Legends II, as well as a character in the old Sega Game Gear game X-Men 2: Game Master’s Legacy, and you can see him in X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse for the Game Boy Advance… oh, and did I mention he’s playable in Marvel vs Capcom 2?).
Either way, consider me excited for this addition to my team. Cable isn’t a favorite character of mine or anything, but there is no denying his bad-assness, and I can only imagine that his moves will compliment his demeanor.
