That’s right, children! Activision has announced the first of supposedly 5 DLC characters, and it’s none other than the excessively deranged Cletus Kasady. Now, I know what you’re thinking – “Whaaaaaaat?” Us comic nerds will of course remember that Carnage had nothing to do with Civil War. Why? Because as David once so expertly pointed out, the Sentry ripped Carnage in half. In space. Of course, it is unknown whether or not Kasady is in the suit when this happens, but still, no suit no Carnage. And while some of us are thinking that like a bunch of nerds, the rest of you are thinking, “Wait, why Carnage?” Well, I don’t know why Carnage. Maybe someone at Activision really likes him? Either way, according to the official M:UA2 site, he is the first of five. The character model does look great, though, and after watching a little vignette on IGN.com, you can tell they at least tried to make him look cool. It’ll be fun to make his crazy hand blades and hack people up, I’m not going to lie. Although, after I get his alt costume, will I play him? Mmm…. probably not. I like Venom, and I have the Eddie Brock costume. I think I’m set on my symbiotes.
I am still crossing my fingers at the ability to play Hercules because nothing would make me happier, but we’ll see. There is absolutely NO information on when this comes out or how much, so all we can do is slowly wait as the other 4 are announced. If I could, I’d like everyone to cross their fingers with me about Herc. Please? I didn’t even get any presents for Christmas this year. It’s the least you all can do!!
